What You Need before you Begin

Preparation

1. Clean the Area: Ensure that the window, floor, and hands are clean.
2. Check the Parts: Verify that all the pieces match the list on the website.
3. Get Tools Ready: Prepare all necessary tools mentioned above.

Installation

1. Measure and Lay Out the Track

– Lay the track next to the window to ensure the width matches.
– For two or more pieces of track, click the joiners together.
– Lay the brackets about 600mm apart.

2. Determine Ceiling Type

– Locate wall studs or ceiling battens using a stud finder.
– If drilling into plaster, use wall anchors or locate battens.

3. Mark the Ceiling

– Make marks 145mm out from the wall (double track) or wall/window frames.
– Position brackets in line with marks and mark screw holes.

4. Screw in Brackets

– Put on protective eyewear.
– Partly screw the brackets into the ceiling using the drill and screws provided.

5. Fix the Track

– Click the track into the middle bracket.
– Tighten the screws in the middle bracket.
– Snap the track into the other brackets and tighten the screws.

6. Attach the Curtains

– Check that there’s a pendant or hook on each curtain panel.
– Click each pendant into the track, starting at one edge.
– For pleated curtains, attach every hook into the track.

7. Check and Adjust

– Ensure that the curtains hang beautifully from the ceiling-mounted track.
– Adjust as needed to ensure secure and even hanging.
